About the Tour

Join us for one of our volunteer led Kangaroo Tours at the Anglesea Golf Club home to around 300 Eastern Grey Kangaroos. On this 25-minute guided experience, you’ll learn about their behaviour, life cycle, and habitat while visiting the best viewing spots. There are opportunities for photos during the tour so keep an eye out for a joey in its mother’s pouch!

Safety Advice

For the safety of our guests, tours may be cancelled in extreme conditions such as total fire ban days, strong winds, or temperatures above 37°C. Any pre-booked tours will be refunded. Please follow all instructions from your guide before, during, and after the tour. The golf course is an active playing area and can be dangerous. Your guide will also explain how to safely approach kangaroos, supervise children, and keep noise levels low. While kangaroos are generally social, they can become aggressive if they feel threatened.

Tour Arrival & Clubhouse Facilities

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your planned tour time to check in with staff and use our amenities. Our Bistro, overlooking the 18th fairway, is open daily from 11am serving coffee, drinks, snacks, lunch, and dinner. You can enjoy a meal or coffee before or after your tour or even add a round of mini golf to your visit!

For large tourist groups of over 25 we offer Special Menu if you are staying for lunch. Price on application.

*Please note tours do not operate on Christmas Day, or the mornings of Public Holidays in Victoria.

Tours can be pre-booked up to 24 hours in advance. Guests are welcome to arrive on the day to take part in the next available tour. 

Please note if you are trying to book a Kangaroo Tour at Anglesea Golf Club and you are booking from outside of Australia, you will need to use a VPN to Australia complete the booking.
