Equipment Hire
The Pro Shop offers hire clubs, pull buggies, and motorised carts for your convenience. You can also book mini golf, driving range access, and equipment hire all in one spot.
Steve Lipovas, Golf Professional
With more than 20 years of experience, including roles at Melbourne clubs like Rossdale and Patterson River, Steve is known for his approachable coaching style and strong people skills. “The best part of the job is the people,” he says. “I get to meet and work with all kinds of golfers every day.”
Steve leads a small, dedicated team at the Anglesea Pro Shop. They pride themselves on expert service, custom fittings, and top-tier gear. The shop also benefits from the experience of former club pro Ian Dodgshun, who lends his expertise part-time.
Using advanced tools like Flightscope, the cutting-edge golf analysis tech, Steve tailors lessons to each player, whether it’s fine-tuning a seasoned swing or giving friendly pointers during a casual round. Steve is passionate about innovation and staying current with the latest golf tech and trends. He and his team are always happy to offer advice and help you get the most from your game.
Beyond golf, the Pro Shop runs a VIP membership program that supports a village overseas, and each year hosts charity golf days including events supporting the McGrath Foundation.
