Discover Anglesea Golf Club – A Premier Destination on the Great Ocean Road

Just 1.5 hours from Melbourne, Anglesea Golf Club is one of the most highly regarded courses along the iconic Great Ocean Road. Nestled in the picturesque hinterland and only minutes from the coastline, our course offers a truly unique and challenging layout that appeals to both seasoned golfers and casual players alike.

Our course began with the opening of the first nine holes, designed by Vern Morcom, in December 1953. The second nine followed in April 1961, completing a full 18-hole course with a par 72 rating. In 1962, additional land allowed for a redesign of the original nine, which was completed in 1968, resulting in the current course rating of 73. Enhancements over the decades have ensured our course remains in top condition; in the 1990s Fairways were upgraded to Wintergreen Couch and in 2000 the course was connected to a recycled water system for sustainable maintenance.

Modern Facilities in a Natural Setting
