75th Anniversary feedback

Congratulations to everyone involved in organising our 75th Anniversary Celebration week. What a great success it was.
It was fantastic to be reminded of the evolution of our club and course and to be reminded of all of the great characters (past and present) who have helped make us the club we have become.
The displays of photos and memorabilia were particularly enjoyable and it was great to be reminded of our 75 years. The “THIS IS THE LIFE” book of recollections will sit on our coffee table for a long time, it’s great.

When we caravan around the country, we visit many Golf Clubs and Surf Clubs. There is never any doubt as to what these clubs stand for and their history, achievements, progress and great characters. They are depicted in a very professional way in the form of photos, memorabilia, honour boards and biographies which acknowledge those who have created their club, their culture and their values.
We would love to see all of our relevant photos and displays appropriately and permanently on view (together with the return of the honour boards in a modern format as well as our historical records) to demonstrate what we stand for and the progress we have made. We are primarily a Golf Club and we should be proud of this, it should be obvious as to what we are.
What do other members think? A worthwhile suggestion?

Ella and Barry Coleman
