Uniquely Australian, the Anglesea Golf Course is renowned as one the country's most picturesque. The 18-hole course is set amidst native bushland, and is home to over three hundred Eastern Grey kangaroos, which graze the fairways daily. The 6028 metre golf course, characterised by winter green couch fairways, and more than 50 bunkers, is a challenge to both competitive and social golfers.

Facilities

The Anglesea Golf Club Inc. was formed in 1950 and is now established with all the facilities for an enjoyable game of golf - practice putting greens, practice fairways and warm up nets, a Pro Shop with all modern equipment, buggies and motorised golf carts for hire, and a newly renovated licensed clubhouse with bistro, gaming room and a multi purpose function room ideal for conferences, corporate meetings, weddings and other social events. After golf, members and visitors can relax, partake a drink or two at the bar, and enjoy the panoramic views from the clubhouse.

Membership

The Club has 1000 members and employs up to 40 staff.

Rounds of Golf

There are approximately 30,000 rounds of golf played at Anglesea in a calendar year which consist of member competitions, special events and green fee players.
